The New League of Exotic Dancers is an international cabaret event celebrating the artists who transformed burlesque from a forgotten form of entertainment into a sophisticated, globally recognised performance art.

Led by Australia's own Imogen Kelly, the World Queen of Burlesque, the production brings together an extraordinary cast of internationally celebrated performers from Australia, the United States and beyond. These are not simply burlesque performers — they are artists, innovators and history makers who have shaped the contemporary cabaret landscape.
 

The evening will move through a dazzling succession of signature performances: exquisite classic striptease, theatrical burlesque, comedy, circus, glamour and spectacular visual artistry. Each performer brings their own distinctive language to the stage, creating a richly varied revue that celebrates both the history and continuing evolution of the form.
 

At its heart, however, this is a cabaret show.
 

We are seeking to collaborate with acclaimed Australian cabaret artist Meow Meow as the show's live musical component, creating a dynamic dialogue between live music and burlesque. Her extraordinary vocal and theatrical presence would provide a sophisticated musical spine to the evening, allowing the production to move seamlessly between song, performance and spectacle.
 

The result would be a rare meeting of two worlds: the great traditions of cabaret and the artists who ignited the modern Burlesque Revival.
 

This is not a retrospective.
 

It is not a competition.
 

It is not a conventional burlesque showcase.
 

It is a celebration of artists who have spent decades pushing the boundaries of glamour, sexuality, comedy, theatre and performance.
